Supports and Help

Here is a list of supports that have been sent to our school to share with the community. Please share and don’t let anybody go hungry during this difficult time.

Second Harvest: 250-833-4011 
Hours: Wednesday 4:30 – 6:00, Friday 1:30 – 3:00 
Instructions: Come to the door in the alley behind the Salmar Classic. Identify yourself with your first name and let them know if you want a bag with eggs or milk.  They will then direct you to a line for one or the other. The bag will also contain potatoes, carrots, onions, fruit, sweets, bread and your choice of soup or beans. 

Salvation Army Food Bank: 250-832-9194  
Hours: Monday to Friday 9 AM – 2 PM at the old Army Cadet building on 3 ST SW 
Instructions: Youth/families: Bring a piece of ID and a piece of mail with your current address on it.  You can pick up a bag of two of food from their tables any day when they are open.  
If you would like a larger hamper of food please call ahead and let them know. Pick up days are Tuesdays and Thursdays for the hampers.
